How DevTool Box handles tool input, preferences and optional analytics.

Most tools process input in your browser. The public-IP tool requests /api/ip, and JSON/XML history can be stored locally when history is enabled. Do not paste secrets into a shared device.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is on by default and can be turned off at any time in Privacy settings. It may process device, network and page-use data and set analytics cookies. We do not send tool input to analytics or use advertising personalization.
Your choices
You can reject or withdraw analytics at any time in Privacy settings. Clear tool history and browser storage from each tool or your browser. Questions can be sent to wetoolboxsite@outlook.com.
Your rights and international transfers
Essential preferences stay in your browser and are never transmitted to us. Google Analytics runs by default and stops the moment you turn it off in Privacy settings; the public-IP tool works because our server can see the address your browser connects from, as any web server must, and simply returns it to you. Analytics data is processed by Google in the United States under its current EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification, with standard contractual clauses as a fallback mechanism. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data and to receive it in a portable form; in practice almost all of it exists only in your own browser, so you can inspect or delete it yourself at any time.
